S-3180V case study: tunnel scanning

The picture above shows a case study of tunnel scanning using the PENTAX 3D Scanner S-3180V. The surface of the tunnel wall is clearly captured. The high quality 3D data enable examiners to observe the conditions of the concrete surface more easily and precisely without needing to stay inside the tunnel. This data also can be compared with other data captured at a different time. This technology frees the examiners from the constraints of time and place.
