At the beginning of the pandemic, our company was closed for more than 7 weeks from March (resulting in delays to invoicing, delivering and receiving pending payments).
Then we were defined as “essential activity” (Foreign trade and essential tasks for the operation of the economy).
We adapted the company to work in Home Office mode, and after approval, 30% of people come 3 days a week to the office (rotating groups) and the rest work from home.
▪ We prohibit the use of public transportation for employees
▪ We adopted ZOOM for Training, Demos and Presentations to clients.
▪ We have intensified marketing and commercial activities (PROMO 40th Anniversary) through social networks, mailing and newsletters.
▪ Focus on online sales through Mercado Libre (a site similar to Amazon, eBay, etc.)
Up until now, there have been no infections among our employees.
Currently, we are operating 5 days a week as from October. Wearing face masks has become common in Buenos Aires. All possible countermeasures against Covid-19 are being taken, such as limiting the number of people entering our showroom to two at a time, and acrylic boards have been set up at each counter. We continue working with only 30% of people working on-site.
All these actions have allowed to us to continue to keep the company open, keeping all employees, and continuing to offer solutions to our customers.
